Company had issues with low pay, high turnover culture. Implemented Employer of Choice strategy within 20 stores using the TotalLeader program as the backbone program. This leadership training provided owners with better tools to work with staff to ensure a better quality of work environment. New policies and procedures were also implemented around safety, bonuses, health and safety work processes. Regular employee meetings were held to gauge thoughts and feelings with implementation of ideas that met Employer of Choice criteria. The past employee survey saw significant increase in employee satisfaction to 89%.
